China Will Provide Another US$50 Million For The Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19)

At the 75th UN General Assembly, Chinese President Xi Jinping announced that in order to support the UN’s central role in international affairs, China will provide another US$50 million in support to the UN Global Humanitarian Response Plan for the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) ; China will set up a scale of US$50 million of the third China-United Nations Food and Agriculture South-South Cooperation Trust Fund; China-United Nations Peace and Development Fund will be extended for 5 years after expiration in 2025; China will set up the United Nations Global Geographic Information Knowledge and Innovation Center and the International Research Center for Big Data for Sustainable Development to provide new support for the implementation of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
