The water is then recirculate to the chiller to be re-cooled. These cooling coils transfer sensible heat and latent heat from the air to the chilled water, thus cooling the air stream.

The screw chiller has a larger cooling capacity than the scroll type and is mainly used in central air conditioning systems or large industrial refrigeration.
